The major airport in Egypt and the primary hub for the national carrier Egypt Air. The airport is located to the north-east of the city around 15 km from the business area of the Capital through four technical parts<\/p>\n
Part 1<\/strong>: All the civil works related to the construction of a new runway for the Cairo Airport including new Taxiways (one parallel, four threshold and four rapid exit taxi ways). Two connecting taxiways to the existing runway 05R\/23L are including in the scope of works. The total paved area comprises of approximate 520 000 m\u00b2 of heavy structure for aircrafts and 550 000 m\u00b2 shoulders pavement construction. The civil works also includes the necessary service roads, drainage system, utilities, concrete works, airfield marking and fencing.<\/p>\n Part 2<\/strong>: All the electrical works including power supply and no break system; Airfield lighting system, control and monitoring system.<\/p>\n Part 3<\/strong>: All the building works related to the construction of a new fire station and a new electrical substation including architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing and HVAC works.<\/p>\n Part 4<\/strong>: All the Navaids and Meteo equipment works including supply, Installation and testing of the equipment and the associated civil and electrical works.<\/p>\n Client<\/strong>: Nasr General Contracting Company<\/p>\n Project Status<\/strong>: Completed<\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":795,"template":"","categoryy":[98],"class_list":["post-792","projects","type-projects","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","categoryy-airports"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
